Body, Mind, and Spirit: Self Care for Caregivers
Learn how to take care of your whole self through integration of body, mind, and spirit. Integration is an act of self-care, which ultimately enables us to take better care of others. Based on latest research about emotional intelligence, dynamic mindfulness, and social and emotional learning (SEL), an interactive workshop introduces evidence-based strategies to build our personal toolkits for self-care. Follow-up coaching focuses on building consistent practices for adults and extensions for children.

Evidence-Based SEL Approaches to Conflict Resolution
Effective SEL approaches are sequenced, active, focused, and explicit (SAFE) and holistically support child and youth development. Acknowledging that comprehensive SEL approaches are best, this session will provide a deep dive into several evidence-based SEL approaches to examine their tools for conflict resolution. Participants will explore conflict resolution examples from Responsive Classroom, Playworks, and RULER. Participants will leave the workshop with a better understanding of how to use these tools and how they fit into the broader scope of SEL.

Coaching Circles for Program Supervisors
Coaching Circles bring individualized learning and peer coaching together. Participants learn how to coach other circle members towards deeper understanding of an issue and action planning to solve an issue. In the process, circle members get both peer support in solving a work-related situation and experiential learning in coaching techniques. Coaching techniques can be applied to supervision, youth work, and collaboration settings.
This learning module includes:
- One 4-hour in-person workshop (meets NYS SACC training requirements in area (5) business record maintenance and management; certificates provided)
- Six 3-hour coaching circles (in-person or virtually)

Understanding and Minimizing Implicit Bias
Implicit bias is a natural element of human behavior, but there is work we can do to minimize it. During this session, participants will develop a foundational understanding of implicit biases: where they come from and how they impact us. Team-Building Cooking Retreat with Chef Laura
Give your team a memorable bonding and learning experience with a Teaching Table retrEAT! Teaching Table plans and facilitates as much or as little of the retreat as needed, including icebreakers, goals and objectives, difficult conversations, small group break-outs, hands-on and competition or collaborative style cooking classes. Retreat topics facilitated by Teaching Table can include: establishing norms of interaction, team charters, etc.; communication and collaboration practices; reflection on outcomes; strategic planning and goal setting. In Teaching Table's hands-on cooking classes, participants learn techniques for transforming seasonal, whole, local ingredients into healthful, delicious dishes they can replicate at home. Menus and objectives will be customized to your team's needs and interests. In the kitchen, teams practice strategic planning, collaboration, and improvisation that translates to their daily work. Teaching Table can secure space with a kitchen facility for an added fee if needed.

- 30-minute planning session via phone or videoconference
- 4-hour cooking and team-building experience
- Follow-up with all recipes, notes from the discussion, and recommended resources
