Kadidja Ndiaye, PD and TA Coordinator

Kadidja Ndiaye (she/her) moved from Dakar, Senegal in the 8th grade to attend school in New York City. While discovering the English language in an ESL class, she witnessed the educational disparities that existed within her middle school. After being captivated by Geoffrey Chaucer's tales in a high school English course, she decided to pursue a BA in English Literature with minors in Philosophy and Sociology from St. Bonaventure University. Kadidja then went on to earn a Master of International Affairs, with courses focused on Western Hemisphere Affairs and Non-Governmental Organizations from Baruch College's Marxe School of Public and International Affairs. While completing her Masters, she became interested in the ways in which economics and politics play a role in establishing educational equity domestically and on a global scale.
Kadidja's passion for educational equity and youth development inspired her to intern with non-profit organizations in New York City that concentrate their efforts on afterschool programs. She also served as a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning intern with The Hunger Project. In that role, Kadidja worked on qualitative data projects, assisted in maintaining databases, and supported grass roots efforts to increase literacy levels across villages in countries across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. As the Professional Development and Technical Assistance Coordinator, Kadidja provides project management, logistical, and evaluation support to the Change Impact team and community.
