TL Daniels, ​Training and Program Quality Manager

TL Daniels is an accomplished program manager, strategist, youth worker, and multidisciplinary storyteller. Hailing from St. Louis, Missouri, and currently residing in Brooklyn, New York, TL has over a decade of experience in youth work, education, and program coordination and management. Her focus has included collaborating with older youth in positive youth development and project management, offering research and strategy into building programs from the ground up, and facilitating participatory engagement with diverse intergenerational communities and clients. One of her life purposes is to uplift the stories and experiences of historically marginalized people, as she is blessed to be a creator by The Creator and uses her abilities to mirror and empathize with others in her work.

TL is a jack of all trades in youth work, education, and community support. She has worked in schools as a high school English teacher, where she focused on supporting students in building their critical analysis and writing skills. As a dean of students, she led restorative conversations with staff, students, and caregivers. She has coordinated and managed many projects in various topics, including art and performance events, social justice coalitions, school-based art programming, and more. Her varied experience in all of this work has shaped her into an adaptable, holistic, and intentional practitioner who values relationships, knowledge, and curiosity. She holds two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Missouri system--the first in Information Technology with a minor in Art, and the second in Education Studies with a focus on Cultural Education--and a master’s degree in Youth Studies from CUNY School of Professional Studies.

In her free time, TL enjoys reading speculative fiction, watching Murder She Wrote and British Murder mysteries, sewing her own clothes, and exploring the art and theater NYC has to offer.
