Marcel Braithwaite

​Marcel Braithwaite is the Director of Community Engagement for the Police Athletic League and a 15-year veteran of the youth development field. He has led coalitions, managed programs, supervised staff, and secured resources for programs and communities throughout New York City. Marcel is a Board Member with New York State Network for Youth Success and an Advisory Board Member for both the Youth Studies Program at CUNY School of Professional Studies and the Bridge Golf Foundation.  

Marcel has a BA from Johns Hopkins University and an MBA from Baruch College, and was the 2015 After School Ambassador for the State of New York. Marcel is an Adjunct Professor with the CUNY School of Professional Studies and has delivered countless training on a wide range of topics including Outcomes and Assessments, Management and Leadership, Police and Community Relations, Effective CBO/School Partnerships, and Conflict Resolution.
